Apple Music quietly launched Discovery Station on Monday, which plays music based on what the user has been listening to lately but hasn’t heard before.
The new feature was released without an official announcement and is essentially Apple Music’s answer to Spotify Discover Weekly, but turned into a continuous stream.
To find this new feature in the Apple Music app, go to “Listen Now” and it will appear in the “Stations for You” category.
With this move into a more automated song discovery software, and a continuous stream of that software, Apple Music are further venturing into the modern algorithmic culture of music streaming.
