Instagrams answer to TikTok – Reels – is now getting more than 200 billion views daily across Instagram and Facebook. This was revealed in a report from Meta to their investors earlier this week.
TikTok has not shared its view stats in some time, but Reels is unquestionably now a major short-form video contender.
These impressive stats further highlight the importance of diversifying your artists social accounts. Reels has always been seen as a secondary tool within the industry, behind its predecessor TikTok, but with such a vast engaged user base, it’s clear to see that anyone that isn’t pushing content on Instagram is missing out.
